Aviva Premiership giants the London Irish Rugby Union Football Club have confirmed the signing of New Zealand international prop Ben Franks for the upcoming Premiership season.
The 30 year old , who has earned 30 caps for the All Blacks, has put pen to paper on a three year deal at the club and will join from the New Zealand based Super Rugby XV club the Hurricanes.
Franks was part of the 2011 Rugby World Cup winning New Zealand side and was also a part of the team that went unbeaten in internationals throughout 2013. Bob Casey, the London Irish operations director said that Ben is a player of top quality and the club is delighted that he has decided that his future lies with the Exiles. Continue reading
